Let’s Get Moving!

We hope this message finds you and your family in good health. It has been quite a road-you might say we’ve all been knocked out of alignment in one way or another. We are looking forward to getting things moving again, including you!

All offices are open and operating on full-time, regular schedules. Hours vary by location so please call your office or visit our web site to review hours and schedule appointments.

Thank You!

We are grateful to our patients, friends, staff and doctors who continue to support First State as we navigate the unknown. We have been able to keep our doors open and care for our patients throughout this crisis. We are here, because of you. Thank you.

After Some Adjustments…We’re Back!

While our dedication to your care has remained the same, you will notice some changes in our offices:

1. Appointments will be scheduled to accommodate social distancing requirements enabling us to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at one time.

2. All patients will be asked a series of screening questions when scheduling. If any questions disqualify you from being seen, we will reschedule accordingly.

3. In compliance with the Governor’s orders, anyone 13 or older who is visiting a First State Health & Wellness office will be required to wear a face covering.

4. We have arranged our waiting areas to accommodate social distancing. If you prefer to wait in your car, please call the office when you arrive and we will notify you when a treatment room is available.

5. Your temperature will be taken by one of our staff using a touchless thermometer. If your temperature is 100 degrees F or above, we will not be able to see you that day and will gladly reschedule after the CDC specified 14-day self-quarantine requirement.

6. We will take the temperature of all team members, including doctors, upon arrival at the office. Any team member with a reading of 100 degrees F will be sent home following the same procedures as our patients.

7. Our doctors and staff will continue our diligent practices of wearing face coverings, as well as sanitizing treatment rooms and public areas.

8. Our waiting areas will no longer offer magazines or toys and the coffee station will be closed.

Please Do Your Part

Please do your part to protect the safety of our staff, doctors, yourself and others by maintaining social distancing and handwashing frequently. Hand sanitizer is provided in various locations around the office for your use.

Stay safe and be well,

Dr. Stacy Cohen
